Advice Needed!!!

I've been thinking of opening a nightclub for sometime now. Now i really want to go forward with the start up process. One problem.... i have now clue where to start. All that im really looking for is a simple outline or chain of events i need to follow. I feel unstructured like in thinking and acting out of order. Can anyone help bring a method to my madness!?

i work for a nightclub consulting company that will do some of the work for you... the owner has opened and managed 12 large clubs and has been in the biz for 10 years. the rest of the staff is SOLID...

if you are interested, drop me a line. i do the DJ consulting, theres a security consultant, and 2 guys that do the bar side of the house and the managerial stuff... my boss teaches you the financial...

not sure what he will charge you, just know hes worth it...

The best place to start is the same for all business' no matter what. A solid business plan. there are several books available on the subject as well as internet sites. Also check with the SBA (small business adiminstration). They have retired executives in most fields and are willing to help you out for free. Anyone else want to comment on this one?

Thanx for the good advice. I am currently working on my business plan. i got a sample plan from the sba web site so thanx for that. MIX - whats the name of the club in southern MD? is it still open? where can i get some info on your company? do u have a website or phone #? if anyone has anymore helpful hint im taking them ALL in! thanx again
