Hi, I'm am new to this forum, but not by any means to nightclubs.
However I am in the first stages of opening my first venue.

I have been in through the nightlife scene, like a girl on 42nd st has been around the block, so the expirience is not what I'm worried about, It's the capital. Now I know that this is the biggest question of all new business's, but I think I have a great plan to start this up pretty cheap($150,000-$200,000)
Now I've worked some #'s and started the busines plan, and I have an apointment with a friend who's a banker, to try to make sure I don't go to a bank blindly and ask for a loan. But what else is there?

Please e-mail me your comments(scott19782@hotmail.com)
Or if you would like to get involved in a new venture.

This is a pretty unige idea.

I live in NYC but this is happening in Philly.

Most of everything should be included in the business plan. Try contacting the Small Business Authority (www.sba.org). They have a group of retired executives from most areas of business that will help you. Since it is a free resource, i recommend it first off. As far as your business plan is concerned it should read like a resume for the business, who is managing it, what type of experience do they have, financial information, how much cash you got, your investors, your partner, Market research. who lives nearby, what types of business are nearby how much walk up traffic you expect, how much advertising you need. Check out the SBA web site. They can help you more than I and its FREE!!! That is one word you will come to love above all else. :)
Good Luck.
