Nightclub Opportunity in Key West

Key West, FL - where people come to drink! And maybe fish a little. Key West is well known for it's open air bars, live music and 4am close, what you don't hear about are nightclubs. but do they NEED or want a club, ?that is the question. Nightclubs can change the culture of an area and the residents may resist intensely (4am close).

Key West has two personalities. Jimmy Buffet has let the world know about the laid back nature of Key West's days, but you need to watch MTV, Wild On, Real Wild Girls and VH1 to learn about the incredible party atmoshpere that exists here at night.

The 4am close is a city ordinance and our bar staff has to ask customers to leave at 4am every day!

What we don't have in Key West is an enclosed dance club with state of the art light and sound.

Why isn't there a Nightclub in The Key's? Is there an ordinance against this type of business?

I'd love to partner with you but my roots here are pretty deep.

When I retire, I plan on opening a little Tiki or Sand Bar somewhere tropical.

There is deffinantely no ordinance against a nightclub, in fact the mayor and city council would like to see all bars and restaurants soundproof.

Location, location, location - is the key to success and failure in many businesses and this is especially true here in Key West. The first three or four blocks from the cruise ship port (1,000,000+ visitors a year) are a must! Several attempts have been made to open clubs in other area's of the city, but all have failed. The building we are leasing has never been available in the past and without it we would not be undertaking this project!
