Hey there! I've been looking at the prospect of opening a nightclub in the Tampa / St. Pete area of Florida. I'm at a place in my life where I've worked in the bar scene and moved over to Corporate America - and am ready to incorporate the two skills and make a dream happen.

I truly think the consultant route is the way to go for me. I'm a cautious-risk-taker (if that makes sense). I know what I want to see in a nightclub - however, if a market doesn't want it - then I'd rather have an expert by my side to slap the reality-check back into me.

I was wondering if anyone knew of any good consultant groups that specialize in this? I contacted SVC several times - but never got any type of response back - so I'm assuming they're not taking on any new clients.

While I have done a great deal of research, all I have together are some concept drawings and some solid skills behind me. I didn't even want to attempt a business plan without some type of market research and a pro standing next to me.

Any suggestions or recommendations for consultants?

David

Joe, the guy that operates the SVC web site, is one of the Administrators on the NC& Bar site. I'm sure that he will see your post and contact you. Like most of us, summer is our busy time. We tend to do most of our consulting during the fall and winter months.

Thanks David -

I'll wait patiently :-) .

There's also something to be said for shopping around. While Joe's website is one of the most detailed and what I'm looking for - I'm not typically the type of person that jumps on the first thing I see either. Anyone know of any other good consultant groups out there?

Thanks!

Joe

Jman, sorry for the delay, but you're right we're not taking many new clients right now. However, if you'd like to email me again with more maybe I can look again. newjoe@nightclub-business.com

thanks Joe
