Hello,
I'm new to this board, and I'm here because I would like to start a bar/nightclub in the Boston area. It would be in the suburbs. The concept I have in mind is based on live music...think a bootstrapped "House of Blues". Great live music at least 3 days a week, good drinks and a Roadhouse feel.
Currently, people have to go to Boston or Providence for this, and I'll be located in between.
While I have proven business and excellent marketing/promotion skills, this industry is new to me. What I'm trying to determine is what the economics of this business are. In other words, I'm trying to create a few scenarios for potential revenue, expenses and profit to determine how to proceed.
Is there any advice you could/would share in this area, to help me get started? Thank you.
