My name in Mario Fernandes and I have been in the bar business for over 30 years the last 10 of which have been in Hong Kong. During the past few months I have produced some male strip shows for numerous bars here and have had a tremendous response. The idea to provide this service came from the resounding success witnessed by Chippendales on their tour here and by other similar acts out of the United States and Australia.
Most major western cities have at least one male strip club catering to the female population however this is not the case here in Hong Kong. I have been toying with this idea for some time before producing “one-off “shows but quite frankly my main difficulty is attracting the right mix of dancers.
In this regard I am looking to partner with an organization such as yours at various levels. First, if you are interested, I would like to book some dancers to tour Hong Kong and secondly to have a closer relationship by way of a future partnership. I have local investor interest in the concept but of course partnering with a company with your experience and expertise would go quite a way to raising the necessary funds.
Hong Kong is very cosmopolitan with an international mix people. As a gateway to China and other destinations in Asia the entertainment scene is highly developed with numerous bars, restaurants and discos but without any permanent venue catering to females. Individuals provide the traditional male stripograms for bachelorette or birthday parties but there are no class acts available.
Please find attached some publicity that has covered our efforts at bringing this form of entertainment to the market. I feel that Hong Kong is ready for such a venue and if this sounds interesting I will provide you further details of my team and concept to open Hong Kong’s premier male strip club.
