Statistics of Men vs Women attendance at bars

I am trying to enclose a patio for outside drinking and smoking at sports bar. To do so the city is asking me to add another toilet to the womens room to equal the number in the mens room. I dont have to do this if I can show statistical information indicating that its not a 50/50 ratio of men to women. Can someone suggest where I can get that kind of data?

How much time do you have to provide the city with the data? Most bars that I've been to in Phoenix have more men than women in them at all times. A sports bar tends to attract more men.

Would the city accept your numbers if you did a head count over the course of a week or so and averaged it out? I'm guessing they would not.

More experienced posters may know the answer, but to me it sounds like the city is asking you to deliver a bucket of steam.
