Ok, a little bit about myself before I get into details.
I've grown up around the night clubs and bars. My neighbor used to design club sound systems and installs them and I'd be his apprentice and assist.
Now that I can, I want to open a club. There are bar's where I live and a bunch of clubs in the next city but NONE in DT area thats closest to me.

So here is what I have so far.
I'm looking to open something in the 5-9000sf ranges. More like an untral lounge
Here is the equipment I'm planning on putting in.

Dance Floor

8 EV QRX212H Mid Hi Cabs
4 EV XSUB 2x18 Non Flying
6 EV P3000RL Amps
1 Klark-Teknik DN9848 Processor
Background Sound

16 EV FRI2082 Speakers
4 EV P1200tl
12 EV EVID C8.2
2 EV P900RT
DJ System / Booth

3 Technics 1200MK II
3 Shure White Label Cartridge
1 Denon DND 9000 Dual CD
1 Rach Mount PC w/PCDJ System
1 Rane MP-44
3 Pioneer CDJ-1000MK2
2 Pioneer DVJ-1000 DVD Player
3 Marshall Dual HD Monitor
1 Rack Mount PC (Light Jockey)
1 Martin Light Jockey Club
1 Martin Show Designer
1 Martin MSD, DMX Card, 2048 CH
2 LCS Touch Panel Light Jockey Recall
1 Custom DJ Booth w/isolation
Do you guys think that that will suffice? Do I need more Subs? I like to have more then not enough so I don't run my equipment at max.
Also, I'm planning on designing the club around the sound system because I've always loved a nicely tuned club system.

Opinions Please!

Sure.

I say sure because you obviously have no idea what you are doing. Not to really slam you, but really??? 10 players in your booth? I'm a video DJ that travels and even the best clubs I work at do not have this type of set-up.

And you have no mixer mentioned AND you're using PCDJ. The first serious DJ that walks into your booth is going to rip it apart installing their Serato box / mixer set-up.

Also speaker set-up's mean absolutely nothing without blueprints or diagrams of your place. Sound is a funny thing and one system that sounds great in one place, can sound like crap in another place. Plus, Light Jockey is nice but I see zero lights / effects in your set-up.

Once again sorry to seem harsh here, but yea, it's a nice list of equipment that really doesn't mean much....and is not practical.

This is precisly the reason why I'm posting! I knew I'd forget something! As for the blue prints, I'm in the Pre phases doing this. I still have to find a club designer to design the club for me.

Also, another point I need to point out is there will most likely be a house DJ. I'm not really looking for hiring or contracting DJ's every week etc.

I think you should design your place out first and see exactly where you will place your speakers/subs etc.

You need to have a layout to work with your equipment dont just buy stuff and then not have room to place it. 1 step at a time. Get your layout done and then you can see where you'll plot everything if something on layout isnt right to match where you want speakers etc then you eliminate it on your blue print and redo it to match where everything you want goes.!

Thank you for the feedback. I'm still looking into the space. Hopefully, I can find a decent place!

I think that should be enough.

I see that you wanna have quite a powerful sound system and tunes equipment.

but how about the design? what style or idea?
anything special about that?

I changed the system a little. No turntables. I'm just going to replace the 3 turntables with Serato since alot of the DJ's now use that anyways.

Decided to go with

8 - Xsubs running off of 4 P3000's. No need for the P3000RL's since we're going to use an external digital processor
4 - QRX212's running off of 2 P3000's.
4 - 3D Laser systems
4 - other laser system
4 - atomic 3000's
a bunch of Martin lights. Don't know the product right off the top of my head right now
As for design. I will have pictures up once we start building
