Caught this article on slashdot and got a real kick:

Pretty neat hack (considering they spent $235 on the gizmo
compared to...oh...$5-20K+ for a commercial equivalent) but
look at their web page and see that they're charging for the
drinks using a self-service debit card system in a college
dormitory.

Who wants to guess how many liquor laws/health codes are
being broken here (windshield wiper pumps would not impress
a health department inspector, methinks.)

Still, I think it's a really neat gizmo - and, oh my, I've hired a
few bartenders in my day that ended up being less reliable than
(but with probably an equivalent personality to) this thing.

So I ask - if you could (or had the time to) program computers or
engineer electronics or mechanics, what would you love to see in
your operation?

One idea that's over my head is a beer coffin cooler that raises
it's stock to the top as it is depleted, like those gizmos (what
are they called - lowerators?) that do this with plates in buffet
lines. My back aches like hell if I have to do a lot of deep-diving
as the shift draws late, and I'd love to be able to easily clean
the broken glass/goo/etc from the bottom while doing stock
rotation/re-stocking.
