My partner and I have concept and investors. We are in the beginning stages of researching what is needed to create the business plan to present to the initial investors who want to bring on other investors in December.

We will be attending the tradeshow in Orlando this month and most likely Las vegas. but my concerns are more what needs to be in our business plan and how much detail? We have 2 sites already zoned for restaurants and have contacted local planning commission regarding design etc. Need detail step by step plan to present to investors. What is the best way to prepare entire plan for the investors? It will be difficult to obtain liquor license in this county until after Sept. 2005 which is okay as long as we get one when we are ready to open, end of 2005. Meeting with architect this weekend. Any suggestions for the beginner in the beginning is most welcomed.

There's a sample business plan for a nightclub. You can download it as a PDF. It shows what sections and info are expected.

Good luck!

Unless your investors are in 100%, you should put together an executive summary instead of a full fledged business plan. No one wants to read 100 pages of a conceptual investment in a very "if-y" business.

Hello,
My husband and I are in the process of purchasing a bar and looking for financing, any ideas?
