looking for alcohol reps

I'm really looking to get plugged in the alcohol/beverage industry. I want to get hired on somewhere to market a product. I also promote parties/events in the mississippi and michigan area. In the next few years I will be opening up a club also. Basically I need a start from somewhere so I can take all of this in another level. If I canyone can help it will be greatly appreciated.

I suggest going to you local beverage distributors and apply for a job. The market I work in has 3 major companies and they're ALWAYS looking for service reps.

But be warned. We bar owners treat our vendors pretty rough some times.

Do you want to be a Liquor Rep? If so, most major labels are represented by private firms like Future Brands, Alliance Spirits and Wine etc. Find out who reps the brands in your area and check with them.

Most of them require at least a BA. If it was me, I'd try the brands that I like the most and work backwards from there.

What is a Service Rep?

The salaries are somewhat low by my standards. Maybe starting around 25 to 35K a year.
