Good morning,

I've looked at other threads on the board but they haven't offered much help. I was wondering how much, realistically, it would take to set up my own bar in the UK? I'm looking to target the higher class clientele, without being classed as another 'trendy wine bar'. I have attainable liquid assets of approx. £55k, will this, and a top-class business plan be enough to get me started?

Should i approach banks, or pivate companies specialising in this area with regards to funding etc.?

Where do i find suitable property to rent/buy?

Any good advice would be sincerely appreciated.

I am the Manager of a Very successfull Nightclub in the North of England, which runs at over a £2Million pound turn over as a single unit.

There are a number of things you need to look at when setting up a bar/club. Do you have the experiance to run a bar? Is there a need for this Bar where you are thinking?
