How come you removed my posts for the hot city honeys promotions?

Sorry about that... there was a rediculous amount of spam posted from fantasysports plugging the business. That is fine if someone is simply offering information and suggestions and not a blatant spam. It was in all the topics and yours got mixed in with it because it looked like spam which, in essence, was spam. So, the admin took it all off.

Yeah - it was a service of mine - spam - but i thought it was cool as long as i was a contributor to the board. i mean i thought we all spammed here to some extent.

I tried to keep it to whats hot and promotion board

So am i allowed to put it back up?

I would say so, BUT it shouldn't be quite as -spammy- as it was... leave it open ended so people can have a chance to inquire, ya know? I would also post it in only one appropriate topic area

The site is a spam free site. The promotions page is for promotions, not advertising.

Here's an example:

We are doing a Freakers Ball this Friday. Here's how the promotion works and so on.

Not:

Come to Dave's Place this Saturday for Wet T's and so on.

Please try to keep in mind that we are a source for imformation and education on our business.

David, have you thought about a product/service forum?

In other words, a place where users could post club-related products and services? That way all the "spam" would be in one place, and people could ignore it if they wanted... or look through it of they needed a product/service.

Sure we've thought about it. But we also agreed that it would be a pain in the butt. We already have enough stuff to police and not enough time to do it.
