Hello Everyone,

I am going to need alot of help on this one.

I am in the process of opening a nightclub in Niagara Falls, NY. I will be funding this with my own money. The location I have picked out is approx 6000 square feet. The type of music played will be Top 40 and Freestyle. I will have a lounge are that serves food under 10 bucks.

All my liquor will be imported from overseas, and they are all name brands, which run me about 3.00 to 5.00 per bottle which includes the federal and state taxes.

This is what I wanted to do. Make an all you can drink nightclub for about 40.00 bucks per person, which includes the cover charge. This will be a one price for admission and drinks. This will include all hard liquor and draft beer. No bottled beer will be sold at my club. Also, I will include wine as well with the all you can drink.

I plan to open on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays. I plan to advertize on the radio. Tell me what you think about this concept.

I put it this way. If an average person drinks up to 2 bottles which is a lot concidering these drinks are mostly mixed. I still will be way ahead. I just need traffic.

Any help will be Great.
Thanks

David

Sam:

Please don't take this wrong. This is a crazy idea. Not only will there be massive amounts of waste but legal problems up the wazoo.

You are not the first one to come up with this idea. I have heard numerous people talk about this type of thing for over twenty years.

Please don't do this, it will only hurt our industry and add fuel to the fires of those that are out to defeat us.

As for the liquor that you plan to bring in from other country's. You will still have to pay tax and have it inspected. You have to have all food products OKed by the FDA and other government agency's. And, when you say "name brands" are you referring to brands like Bacardi and so on? The major brands are area protected. You won't be able to import liquors that are already in the states. The manufactures will protect their customers, distributors and territories.

Sorry if I took the wind out of you sails. Sometimes I have to do that to make sure that people really understand the can of worms that they could be opening up.
