How do I apprentice at a club?

I have run my own business for a few years, so I am, in a general sense, familiar with business plans, budgeting, etc. I have a bar overseas, but I am interested in making the jump to runnind a large nightclub. I want to first work at a nightclub, but I wanted to shadow the manager or owner, so I could see what goes on behind the scenes on an administrative level. How do I approach club managers or owners for this type of opportunity? Thanks for any help.

Show him a reason why he should take the time to do it, and why he should trust you. Try offering to work for him for free?

Try the apprentice approach. Let them know that you want to learn the management side of the business. And that you are willing to trade hours for knowledge.
