Hello All,
For any of you that attended any of my training session while at the N&B Show in Vegas… THANK YOU. I hope the information was useful.
For those of you who stopped by my company booth to say hello or get some answers to questions…. THANK YOU. If I didn’t get to talk much, sorry, my booth was very busy.
David, it was nice talking to you and having a drink or twenty at the parties. Keep up the work.
Finally... if you are coming to San Diego for the June N&B show make sure you say hello. Not sure of the number yet. The show is more regional but will have all of the same fun junk going on...only on a smaller scale.
Good Luck,
Robert

Who are you, Robert? I never went to Vegas. At least that I can remember. Just kidding. I know one thing, Alamo probably won't rent me any more cars. I think that I lost their rental once or twice. I took a taxi instead of driving because of unforeseen circumstances. Too many Martini's.
In all seriousness. We all had a great time and learned a lot from the seminars. I too was disappointed at the turn out, or lack of it, at the Safety Seminar. In fact, I was so impressed with the subject matter and the panel that I'm planning on doing one in my market. I have talked to the people that would be involved and they think that it's a good idea. I hope that Dr. Meek and the others at Nightclub and Bar Magazine continue to have this type of thing available to all of us at the Vegas Show. It's funny how everyone attended the Promotion Building type seminars and avoided the Safety Seminar. Safety of our customers and our livelihood should be our first concern.
I also saw and tasted a few new products that I think will be very popular once they are released to the general populous. Get ready for an Energy Drink explosion. My favorite was from Atomic "X" (in the orange can). I think that I counted eight new players and a couple of new additions to the old standbys.
I'll do a full report in a couple of weeks. I need to organize my notes (decipher the hand writing).
If you have any questions, post them here.
To all of my old friends that were at the show. It was nice to see you again and catch up on the latest market trends. I hope that everything is going well and that you made it home safely. Keep us posted on new and unique promotions that are happening in your areas.

I agree about atomic-x, non-carbonated, definitely the best.
One suggestion, the show needs some real help when it comes to directional signage.
I first went to the wrong end of the convention center as did many others who I talked to asking me for directions. Two years ago when I was there last, the seminars were in the other end. A few signs in that end would have helped. And then we had a hard time finding where to go for the Alladin party, and a MUCH harder time finding where the shuttles picked up afterwards.
It was hard enough finding places while sober, I'm not sure how the "samplers" found their way around. A few signs with arrows at all functions would be great.
Otherwise, a GREAT SHOW!!! Thanks to all who put in all the hard work.
