whats up...i say if you put a solid plan together, and your not just pitching you money in a hole, then go for it. you have a unique idea? PM if you feel or post here.

First what are your plans for the business
sec. do you feel you know enough about the business to start one

what dont you get about follow the dream...if the person has a dream to own an operate a venue then obviously follow that dream.

Lee -

Its great that you feel you have a “perfect” plan for a nightclub - but let me give you a bit of advice , in the real world a “perfect” nightclub concept only has a shelf life of about 3-5 years. Most hot concepts peak in approx. 30 months , level out for 6-12 months then start to slide into the red. Sure there are a few exceptions across the country - places that are landmarks, but they are far from being the rule.

The club owners that have the best long term success understand that they must keep things “fresh” , therefore they write their business plans to include “concept updates” , which include name changes, décor updates, replacement of FF&E and in some cases staff reorganization.

Just a bit of advice before you sign a 7-10 year lease.
