I was recently contacted to share some publicity stunts and thought maybe we could get a string going on this subject.
I'll start that one of the slickest I've seen was where within a top club on a Saturday night,club kids passed out invites to a select few for an after hours, underground, warehouse party in an abandoned building.The club kids were hired and they called the police on themselves and were arrested along with many of the invitees.I narrowly escapes down a broken fire escape at 7am! Anyways, the media had a field day because this was a hot new club, the club kids were dressed like freaks (according to the media), and the building was an old landmark with alot of history behind it.Massive free press, and the club just looked cooler in the eyes of its target market.And almost no one knew it was a planned publicity stunt!
