MODELS CONTEST RULES/INFO
The Contest presented by Party Rockers, DatingAuctions.com & Villa Entertainment is open to all Tri-state New York female models, male models, petite & plus size models ages 21 and older in the New York Tri-State Area. Models outside the tri-state NY area are eligible to participate if they are able to meet the contests requirements. We are not responsible for travel , meals, or accommodations. Our various contests will run quarterly, prior winners can compete after a period of 1 year.
Benefits of entering:
1. Online exposure by people rating and viewing your bio/photo.
2. Live exposure at Club New York Sweetwater Tuesdays Model Showcase.
3. Eligibility to win one of the two grand prizes.
4. Additional experience for your bio.
5. Additional traffic to your linked website or webpage.
6. Receive VIP card for Sweetwater Tuesdays and DatingAuctions.com Events.
7. Prizes valued in excess of $1,000.
Requirements:
1. The contest is open to aspiring models that do not have major agency representation.
2. When you enter the contest you automatically agree with the enclosed contest rules and the terms and conditions listed on DatingAuctions.com.
3. Models must attend a minimum of 3 models showcases at Club New York (CNY) within the month of June and July. Tuesday’s June 3, 2003 grand opening event/showcase is mandatory (unless prior notice is made).
4. The top 10-men/female finalists must attend the final judging event held at CNY in August (date to follow) to be eligible to win the contest.
Contest Period:
Photos and bios can be sent in beginning Saturday May 14, 2003. However, the voting/rating begins online at DatingAuctions.com on Thursday June 5, 2003 and will end on Tuesday August 5, 2003. The last day to register for the contest is Tuesday June 24, 2003 at CNY. The final judging will be held in August and everyone participating will be notified in advance. We reserve the right to terminate the contest by giving notice deemed appropriate by the sponsors listed above.
Registration:
Begins Thursday May 22, 2003 at CNY located at 252 W. 43rd St., NY, NY from 6pm to 7pm and continues each Tuesday 6pm to 7pm until June 24, 2003. All contestants will be required to fill out a registration form, submit their comp cards and/or photos with bio along with the $10 registration fee in cash or by check made out to Villa Entertainment. The $10 entry fee covers registration and website set-up.
Registration constitutes permission by contestants to use their names, cities and states of residences, and likeness', and to be photographed for advertising and publicity purposes without additional compensation except where prohibited by law. Contestants, finalists and winners agree to adhere to the rules of this contest. Entries and other submitted material become the property of DatingAuctions.com and will not be acknowledged or returned.
Photos/Bios:
1. For the website submit 1 photo (no nudity) in jog format not to exceed 275 x 275 pixels with your bio for the website.
2. For registration at CNY submit up to 3 photos including headshot, full length, and action (swimsuit, lingerie, sport, etc…).
3. Website Bio should include your stats, interest, goals, website link and city and state along with a contact email address (not mandatory).
4. For registration at CNY submit your current bio.
5. Email website Photo/Bio to ModelsContest@datingauctions.com.
Voting/Rating Process:
1. The global online community will choose the finalist by voting/rating for their favorites
2. The highest rated entrants consisting of 10 men and 10 women with the most votes go on to the finals for judging in August.
3. Only 1 vote per day will be tallied.
4. To vote just click on the picture or name of your favorite couple and click on "Vote For Us.
We have a voting system that tallies the votes and allows only one vote per person. This is to maintain the integrity of the voting procedure and prevent cheating as much as possible. Also we record the IP of each visit to the site. If we see a correlation between the same IP address and a number of votes for one contestant, we will take proper action.
Winning Tips/Advice:
1. Inform all your friends about the contest and tell them to visit the website and CNY to sheer you on. The more people who see you and rate your pictures the better opportunity you have to go into the semi-finals.
2. Use quality photos and do not use photos of you and someone else.
3. Place a banner on your website that links to ours for additional votes.
4. Attend many or all of the Sweetwater Tuesday showcases for maximum exposure to those who will become your fans and vote for you.
Finalist:
Will be judged by a selection of industry related panelist equally on the overall poise, grace, beauty and attractiveness of their submitted photos and stage appearance. Contestants agree to be bound by these rules and the decisions of the judges, which are final. In case of a tie, the audience in attendance will choose the winners. The two winners s will be announced at Club New York in August and listed on DatingAuctions.com. The finalist must be present in order to win.
Prizes:
The two winners, one male and one female will each win either/or:
1. Cash prizes in U.S. Dollars in the amount of $500 (subject to increase).
2. A photo shoot for their portfolio with a Critically acclaimed photographer.
All liability for federal, state, local and other taxes imposed on prizes is the sole responsibility of the winners. All prizes will be awarded, provided a sufficient number of qualifying entries are received. No warranties are made with respect to prizes.
Miscellaneous:
We reserve the right to:
1. Modify or cancel all or any portions of the Contest because of technical errors or malfunctions, viruses, hackers, or for other reasons that corrupt the Contest in any manner, or for any or no reason.
2. To disqualify any entrant who fails to comply by the Official Rules.
3. To substitute a prize of equal or greater value at our discretion.
Legalities:
Entrants agree to release and hold harmless the sponsors, their affiliates and subsidiaries, and each of their respective directors, officers, employees, agents, successors, and assigns, from any damage, injury, death, loss, or other liability that may arise from entrant's participation in the Contest or the awarding, acceptance, use, or misuse of any prize. All entrants agree that United States law shall apply exclusively to the Contest and that any dispute with respect to the Contest shall be resolved in either the federal or state courts located in the State of New York. All federal, state and local laws and regulations apply.
