We are a barstool manufacturer that wants to make sure we are hitting the target market- nightclubs- with the product they need
what are the things you look for when evaluating a barstool purchase? how long do you expect it to last? how long have the ones you purchased lasted? what would you change? What is the average price point you look for when purchasing?

I'd say sturdiness is the number one concern, in a situation where these stools might be used everyday two years may be the maximum they could hold up. But in an average nightclub situation, open say 3 days a week with light hours of operation, I'd say 5 years was a reasonable time frame.

Also important the ability to "tighten up" the stools myself as they get a bit loose.

I've had the same stools now for 3 years, ordered 2 dozen more after 18 months because I liked them so much. They're black and losing their paint a bit and cost about $73 ea. They're a 30" stool with a high back, no arms and slat backs.

Hope this helps.
