What are the ages of my cliental?
Does the gender of my patrons differ based on: day of the week, month, year, or event?
I want to open another bar, which zip codes are most of my customers coming from?
What is the number of repeat customers vs. new customers for a specific time frame?
Is there a way to measure how successful a newspaper ad or tv commercial has done?
Does my busiest/slowest days of the week change based on creation of a theme night?
When is my busiest/slowest month for out of state visitors?
What is the change in demographics when the students leave for spring break?
When should I increase/decrease my staff based on how we did last year?

Thank you for all the inquires for Patron Statistics. I have compiled a few FAQs below:

How do I know if it is legal to use the information from drivers' licenses?
We actively research new State and Federal laws pertaining to drivers licenses usage and storage. We also participate in www.privacyprotection.org (http://www.privacyprotection.org) and assign a PPL to each account based on their location.

Will other nightclub / bar owners be able to see my patrons?
The only person that can see your information is you and any manager accounts that you add to the system. Also, you can assign higher PPL's to manager accounts if you don't want them to be able to view / edit patrons information.

How much is it, and do I have to give you a percentage of my cover charges or a percentage of my drink sales?
Currently we charge a flat rate per. month of just $499.00 per location. We have some special promotions in affect that lower this as well (Just ask). We think its better for you to keep more of your own money.

What happens to my data if I decided to cancel
All of your patron information will be deleted from our system. It will retain in system backups for up to one month, but after that time it will be removed.

I want to sign up, but I don't currently have any card scanner data how can I still see the reports / features of your site?
We have sample data files that you can select to use instead of live data. When you upgrade your account from trial to full customer we remove this sample data from your account.

I already have a list of patrons in Excel (or another format) how do I use that in your system?
Once you sign up for a full customer account we will help you import your data into our system.

Thank you again, and please keep the questions coming!

More FAQs..

How can I use Patron Statistics to its fullest potentional, do you have a manual or Scenarios booklet of some kind?
Ans.
We do have a Scenarios pamphlet and a users guide. Here is a couple of scenarios:

Marketing Solutions: Grand Opening of a New Location
Your biggest customer base will come from residence within the closest proximity of your new location. Let's invite them to a special night where you inform your customer about a new location close to them and you can track the response rate from different zipcodes.

The first part is to run the Day of the Week Report, filter by zipcode to determine the best day of the week for a special night. Maybe Tuesdays are better than Wednesdays for 85201 and Thursdays are better than Mondays for 85202.

The second part is to create a mailing list and filter by zip code. You may also choose to filter by a particular age group if you wish. Then, you can rerun the Zip code Report and filter by your event date to compare the response.

Marketing Solutions: Repeat Customer Rewards
Your "regulars" provide consistent revenue and referrals from their friends and family that they bring in. A simple thank you note for being a patron will go a long way to those who come in often.
Filter your mailing by choosing a specific number of repeats (e.g. people who have come in more then 25 times).

Why did you create your software to be run over the internet?
Ans.
Security for one, and ease of use for another. Lets say that you have some computer problems and you lose your data, if you are using our system you have offsite secure storage for all your patron data. Plus, installing software on your computer can be time consuming and what if it breaks or doesn't install correctly? Our software is browser based so it can run on any computer that has a browser (windows, mac, linux) and if we need to improve or add new features we don't have to worry about updating your software. You can also use it from your house or office or any location in the world that has internet access.

Thank you again for the questions.. If you have questions please post them in this forum or email us directly.

The wood chucking matrix might be a problem since there is such a great variance in the amount of wood that a wood chuck can actually process. But given enough time, I am sure I could come up with something that could overcome this and calculate it down to the last splinter.

A lot of people have been asking if they can test out the report generation system with out having to create an account. Now you can: Report Wizard (http://www.patronstats.com/StatReportPublic.aspx)
This report is set with 20,000 patrons information (all random generated patron data). This data is generated for Scottsdale, AZ. Feel free to try it out, and please post any questions or comments.
