View Full Version : Investors for Houston Icehouse wanted
Texas

Hello all,
My business partner and I are looking for investors for a Texas themed icehouse in the Houston area. Our bar will have beer, wine and mixed drinks as well as live local entertainment.
This will not be a cowboy bar but rather a local community bar. We are looking at properties now and should settle on one around 5,000 sf.
We have some unique ideas and business plan that I cannot discuss in this forum but would be happy to discuss with serious investors.
We only need $120,000 to open and we are looking at paying a 200% return within 36 months.
Please contact me via private message if you are interested.
Thanks.

have not heard great things about houston even before the katrina onslaught. i wont foot your bill 100%, but i'm interested in getting in on a state side club. aside from a monetary investment which is no problem i would expect 99% creative control, staffing, training, promo, music format set-up and primary management selection. after 6 months or less i will pop smoke and you can send me my take. oh yeah i do the build out so that saves a few bucks.
i will one up you. for 150k i can build you the best bar in buenos aires , argentina with international recognition that will within 12 months guarantee you a 200% return on your investment.
for a 300k w/ 100k reserve i can establish the hottest bar and no doubt will be the mainstay business in honolulu for years to come with a 200% plus return on your investment within a year guaranteed. also franchise and merchandise copyrights and international marketing royalties.
just something to think about i guess.
all the best your pal

M,
There are some great things about Houston in the bar business. If you need proof, goto www.lonestarbiz.com and you can see the alcohol revenues figures for all the bars in Houston.
Check out some of these names as our bar will be similar:
Woodrow's
Mike's Ultimate Sports Bar
Tobins
Sharkys Machine
Oz Bar
Pennisons Sports Pub Too
Crazy Frogs Saloon
You can only see data that is 1 year old or older without paying but I have the figures on these locations if you are interested.

Let me know when you find out where your buddy will be located. If he is in Houston I will buy him a drink.
$120K my sound a little short in Hawaii but it's plenty for an icehouse in Houston.
Take care.
