Are there other boards like this that get more traffic? Not that I don't like it here, just looking for more places to read.
thanks for the help...

It is up to all of us to rebuild the traffic on this board. It's really the only one of it's kind for the industry that exists for anyone's use. As a matter of fact, more participation is our number one goal. Look for mention of the exchange in upcoming issues of Nightclub and Bar Magazine.
However, if you're looking for more to read you can visit our archives here:

Please feel free to copy any thread over to this board if you like and respond or ask more questions here. But please don't respond there, it is not currently monitored.
Thanks for your interest,
Joe

Madscientist and others:
This site was revamped and reactivated in October of 2002. Since then Joe, I and a few others have tried to make this site the best and most informative on the net. We have a lot if very intelligent people that Moderate and post here. Unlike most other sites, we actually work and play in this business. Not only that, we do all of this "consulting", so-to-speak, for FREE. IF you would like to see more activity on the site, post more questions. Also, please tell everyone that you know about the site. We are just foaming at the mouth to share our wisdom and knowledge. We just love Brain Drain.
We have the backing and the privilege of association with the industry's premier magazine, Nightclub and Bar Magazine. Check them out at www.nightclub.com.
The people that moderate this site, do it on their own time and for free. All of us do get a little busy at times and tend to neglect the site and we apologize. The summer months are my busiest times. I'm sure that holds true for the other Moderators. In fact, one of our crew has just opened up a new club in Florida. This has taken all of his time. I really miss his help. He'll be back soon, I hope. Maybe he can share his experiences with us.
You guys make the site what it is. If you would like to see something different, let us know. We are really easy to get along with.
I like to share my experiences and knowledge. My main goal is to make this a better business and to get more people involved in it.
If you know any Restaurateurs, pass the site address on to them. We need more restaurant people on the site.
Thanks for your questions.

Great post David, Thanks for the warm welcome and background knowledge. My main concern for other boards/posts was to eliviate asking numerous questions that have been asked before. With the "go ahead to ask," I'm going to ask away...
thanks again
