Rather than developing our own business model (not business plan), we are looking for resources where we may find one that fits our concept and clientele. Is there a 'one stop shop' for business models, or perhaps, a broker/owner that might be interested in sharing?
By business model, I am looking for service times, employee handbooks, company policies, etc.

its not possible for someone to have already done the work for YOUR concept
search this forum and you will however find some business plans etc for OTHER peoples businesses that you can use as a template
if you want employee handbooks etc, you will need to make them, or hire a consultant to help you.

I agree with you on that teenclub, many of these people that are on this forum are people that have had trial and errors in their lives of the nightlife. It takes that person to do it themselves so they fully understand what they are doing and not what the others are. You have to start on your own feet first and then see if your stuck then others might lend you a hand on something you don't understand.
This is a resource place and not your source for do my own homework for me.
Just some advice, if you can't do it yourself to start why enter the business???

I have no problem doing it myself, just like I could probably have built the Golden Gate Bridge by myself, but it would take a little longer than expected. As with any business startup, it is nice to have the guidance and/or suggestions of seasoned pros to expedite matters.
I'm sure you know that there are always things that will be overlooked. I, like everyone else, am simply trying to minimize this. I'm not looking for handouts, just advice, which was well received. Thanks.
Perhaps a more appropriate wording would have been: Is there documentation or resources available that provides a detailed (but generic) checklist for bar startups in the areas of customer service and company policy?

I could write a generic handbook for you...actually i already have one. but to be honest all the work that i have done whether or not its for the nightclub & bar industry it has all been hard work of myself. Basically speaking for a lot of the people on here. Not one person will just hand it off to you. Do the research yourself. Start off by reading about what goes into a business plan and do it front to back, then do it again. keep revising it, keep reading this board. Make a plan that seems bullet proof, cross your t's dot your i's, make sure your numbers work out, then take all the many steps to follow.
My wife and I developed a bar and nightclub front to back, we have a great theme, but we have decided that with a young family those hours we just can't do at this time.
We hope to later in the future pursue The Haunting, but since we are both involved in the Tattoo Industry we will be opening a studio in downtown clearwater, or on clearwater beach.
Any interest in getting added to the mailing list drop us an email piratescovetattoo@gmail.com
Thanks everyone.

Always appreciate the suggestions. It's looks like experience is the teacher in more ways than one!
