Hi Guys,
I'm planning to start a Clubbing Coach Trip Service in the UK.
What I plan to do is take large groups of people from Central London to clubs in the Midlands, or by the Coast - basically anything within a 2 to 3 hour journey.
We will visit clubs in Nottingham, Brighton, Milton Keynes and other similar destinations.
Onboard they'll be
Food and drink
Party Games
And other forms of entertainment designed to get everyone mingling and having fun.
I will also have an SMS Alert system that sends messages to their mobile phone to let them know when the coach has arrived or is planning on departing, which may also be used to allow the clients to chat to each other as well.
Has anyone had any experience with a similar service?
regards
Dee

A bus full of smashed clubbers?
Sounds scary to me but good luck to you, anyway!

I certainly hope not .. that what I see as the challenge to cater to people that like to have a good time but not get smashed out of their heads!!
I've been to one event in London called the Church - run mainly to cater to Australians and New Zealanders and some of the people there drink far too much - some I've seen lliterally run into walls for fun and knock themselves out!!

.. which is why I said "good luck"; as a New-Zealander but permanent Australian resident - I know EXACTLY what you mean!
It is a good idea if you/people control their alcohol intake, actually.
Consider a small ad in the local papers in Aus/NZ or promote through Travel agencies.

I was planning to target the London City worker types and perhaps those huge companies that have a social newsletter - I worked for a big UK company and years ago we got a newslletter advertising a PArty Bus - so I booked fo rmyself and 3 friends. There was 2 Double Decker buses full of people - much have been about 300 people in all and we all had a good time - don't remember anyone getting drunk actually - was just a good laugh - although the actual bus service was nothing special just transport from one club to the next (4 in all) and in reality all clubs were actually a few minutes walking distance fro each other but they took us ona 15 minute ride between each venue just for the hell of it!!
So you think I should advertise abroad as well ? I worked with a lot of Australians in London and noticed the love to travel - they were always jetting off to other European countries on the weekend and making use of the many special offers we used to get.

Sure, why not? A small ad in the travel section or notifying the local agents to do it on both of your behalves. I know of many people who want to go there. And when they get there, they want to mix and party.
'tis true; Aus/NZ'ers love to travel and get OUT there.

Have done quite a few bar hopping and road trips with the bus thing....Little FYI.. forget bringing the booze and beer on the bus, you drive for 3 hours to get to a location.. and everyone is hammered..... See ya in Vegas, make sure you stop by my seminar... Sperm Whale " Doormen" Knuckledraggers or Meeter & Greeters. spmwhale@starpower.net

Not had any experiance with it, but am the manager of a very busy club in Yorkshire, and would be happy to chat with you about your idea, and maybe arrange something between ourselfs. My club web page is www.big-fellas.co.uk, take a look and see what you think.
Its not a desitination venue, its more a party club which holds 1600, and is full every night almost.
