Hello All

I have recently written a book on the bar and Nightclub business. As an Owner of a bar of two or three... I have finally taken the steps to help write a book helping and informing others who wish to take the step into owning and operating a bar.
The book is in an easy to read and understand format as I am not a writer. I have tried to lay out many of my own pitfalls and mishaps and include lots of helpful information on the business from begining to end as I possibly could.
I am beginning to start the second book in the coming months, this is delayed because I am begining a new project.

I am looking for some professionals to help review the book and would be happy to send out some free versions to experiance professional.

Thank you so much

I've read through the book, and I am absolutely loving it. I am an experienced owner/operator of a bar and two nightclubs (all have been sold now) in Australia over the past 9 years.
Chris' book is a very professional way of looking at the nightclub and bar industry, however he still manages to stay "down to earth" and easy to understand.
I am able to relate a lot of my own personal experiences to what Chris has said in his book, however I still am going to implement some of the further knowledge I have gained by reading it in my next project here in Australia.

Chris' knowledge of the industry is amazing, and the way he talks about it is even better.

Chris, well done mate. 5 Stars. A classy book and an excellent insight into the setup of a bar or nightclub, and what it takes. I really enjoyed the jokes you put in there as well. Great idea =)

Thankyou again,

Regards
Josh.

I am a bar and nightclub person and unfortunatly not a writter but like everything I do I do lots of research...I bought a few of the other books out there and was amazed at the Stale squewed point of view....It was souless information written in a text book manual style format......

The authors of these books were NOT club owners many were Managers, or a person paid to aquire information from many sources.....This information tells you what to do......But does not explain why or have any play in the situations....As you know as a Club or Bar owner...the situation is never perfect as the other texts would like to show how easy it is just follow these steps....

EVERY! Bar and Nightclub is Different and every day changes the situation even every hour.....I have done so many projects from Beginning to Open that I have run into a hundered different ways to handle every situation...Learned only from experiance...Both good and bad....

I have tried to use the humor to help the average reader to let their mind take a break and absorb the material......I am sharing my experiances both good and bad using humor (That is a part of my personality) trying to prepare someone, anyone for the reality of opening a New Project.....As you know this is the BREAK POINT for most projects....Run out of Cash and You are done!!!...Opening half ass will effect the entire life of the business.......

I originally was not going to write a book and sat down to write a script for a short DVD seminar to help people with a few key points about the business...After a solid 2 days of writting I could see I had vast amounts of knowedge trapped and fighting to get out...I could have written for another 2 months but I needed to stop before I had a monster and I must say Boring Book......

I am preparing the next book to outline certain points and focus on more indef information on these points.....

I cut out so much info from the first book that I have and will roll into more books, Both entertaining and enlightening....But Never Dull and Boring...Learning must be FUN!!! and you should but a part of yourself into everything you do and everything you create......

Cheers
Chris
