Hi, new to these forums. We are five students from the UK who have a future plan of opening a nightclub in America. We have been researching for a few weeks now over the net and have been looking at clubs for sale. We have also been on many websites which consist of 'How to setup a nightclub'. We are all currently studying business studies, I.T, Sociology and maths for A-Level. We have a plan for the next couple of years to work and raise 480,000 USD. Each putting in 60,000 pounds (120,000 dollars) except for two who will put in 30,000 pounds each. We are fully commited to this idea and have been putting together a business plan for a couple of weeks. From info on the net we would hope to loan about 250,000 dollars (would this be possible.obviously in a couple of years when we're around 24). We have estimated a sort of cash flow forecast if we buy a 600,000 dollar nightclub. We have estimated our income/revenue. cost, payback loan each month and from info on the net we estimated what our costs would be also our revenue each month. We worked out how much our closing balance would be. Turned out to be a healthy profit. If anyone could give us anyhelp/ideas on what to do and also point out what we should be doing at his stage e.g. what we should be trying to find out. Please no need to waste a post by saying something negative about this. Everyone has to start somewhere and we're starting early.

heya...
im new at this as well and in the same boat as you.. except i was thinking of starting off small and working my way up to a bigger venue and crowd. its easy looking at what you could make if you pack out and empty your bar every night but what if you dont..... also do you know what kind of club you want to open and if your looking at buying some online... you might want to check the areas for competition and a general flow of what clubs are in the area. if everyone there is into there techno etc and you go and open a uk hip hop grime club or something for example you cant just expect people to come to your club beacuse its there... you have to check the market and make sure theres room for your idea. hope i make some sence... best of luck!
