Thank you to the fine folks who allow us to get the word out about the great entertainment industry that we're all a part of. We apologize in advance for the length of our post, but we hope you can use it to increase your sales.
We would like to introduce the United States Beer Drinking Team (USBDT) as the newest and most unique way to drive a passionate "team" of beer drinkers to your promotions.
The United States Beer Drinking Team (USBDT www.USBeerDrinkingTeam.com) is a wholly owned brand of Leisure Technician, LLC, a Maryland LLC. The USBDT is the first and only national membership team for passionate beer drinkers.
There are over 90 million beer drinkers in the USA and 62 million are active on the Internet. They spend 67 billion dollars per year on beer. Beer accounts for over 140 billion of the U.S. economy. This provides a huge potential membership base for the USBDT and our membership is growing rapidly. Since our launch in April 2002, our USBDT membership is now growing at a pace that will reach over 1 million members by the end of 2003 and 20 million members by 2004. The USBDT doesn't have an "official beer". We promote "the love of beer". Our favorite beer is ~ beer! Whether it's Bud/Miller/Coors or any of the fantastic microbrews that cross our table; we love 'em all!

We've found the greatest pain associated with promotions and events to be:
1. No one knows about the promotion.
2. Your regular customers show up (as always) and drink your half price beer.
3. Your customers hear about the great promotion on the following Monday after it's already over
The USBDT has created and perfected a viral way to increase attendance to all your promotions and thereby get new customers to show up at your bar/restaurant/event or promotion.

It works like sliced bread. It's all about the camaraderie of a team.
Try printing out 10-20 certificates and just putting them on your co-workers desk. (You get ownership by signing it in the lower right hand corner)
After they print out and distribute the certificates, they are stapled, pinned or posted in their cubicles and office walls for "bragging rights" to their buddies. The Beer Buddies
Here's what we do with this info: Upon membership, we get the email address and zip code of our members (postal code for international). On Thursday mornings we send out a USBDT Email to all members within 10-30 miles of your great beer promotion and they forward the emails to their beer buddies. "We promote your promotions" and the entire team shows up.
Our automatic and incredibly viral online membership certificate program up and running, and it works GREAT. Here's a example of recent USBDT signups.
Note the occurrences of *27211. This guy from Oregon signed up and created a .PDF certificate (link above) and then over the next 6 minutes signed up and created "Beer Buddy" certificates for a total of 30 of his best beer drinking friends in the world. He handed them out to all his beer buddies and they now know about and validate their USBDT membership with THEIR email and zip code.

The USBDT offers national and local companies the ability to reach our growing and exclusive membership of passionate beer drinkers with two types of sponsorship: Neighborhood Sponsorship and Official Category Sponsorship.

The USBDT Neighborhood Sponsor Program is an inexpensive way to drive more qualified traffic to local bars, restaurants, destination/event companies using USBDT’s unique "Promote Your Promotions" program.
Our job is to increase traffic to your place by promoting your events to our members. We will literally ‘promote your promotions’ using multiple communications to our exclusive membership list, including email, newsletters, and promotion on our website. All of our members have asked to be included in these promotions and they have asked for us to tell them where and when the best promotions and events are happening in their local area!
We also promote events for those members who travel, making the Neighborhood Sponsor Program even more valuable to you. Imagine a USBDT member living somewhere else who is traveling to your city. Our members are interested in the best places to enjoy themselves and can lookup where the best events are in your city on our website.

The Official Category Sponsor program provides an exclusive opportunity for national companies to reach our unique audience. There will be only one Official Category sponsor for each designated category.
Categories that will have an officially designated sponsor include credit cards, apparel, magazines, soft drinks, outdoor gear, restaurants (national), insurance, games, sports teams, airlines, and many others.
Our category sponsors receive exclusive awareness in USBDT communications, customized promotional opportunities, special rights to merchandise and unique endorsement from USBDT members.
