i am a new member on this site and i have been reading all the old post,this site is amazing,to some people having a nightclub is reality to others it is a dream all i need is some one with experience to guide i have a business plan i had been doing my homework for the past 5 months but the more i find out what this industry entails the more people become negative, but i still want to do this and make it a success no matter what people say or think.i am not a 17year old with just a dream i want to make this a lifstyle take it to different levels. by the way i am 22years old i was the pr for a club and i know how the industry operartes i have interacted with lots of club owners to see if this is what i really want so please take my request seriously. :)

I dont think people are negative, I think when we tell the truth it sounds negative. This is a business you gotta love or you couldnt do it. The owners on this site understand the not so glamorous side of owning a glitter palace but when the lights come on its not always so pretty. Be realistic in your dream before reality hits you in the face

I agree owneroper. Being realistic is the most important concept in managing a business. People often mistake practicality and reality as being negative.

i'm not being negative, just honest. i'm sorry but you don't know the biz after being a promoter for a club. get a job at a nightclub or bar and learn it that way, if you don't you WILL loose all your ( or someone else's ) money. every day i learn something new and ive been doing this since you were 3.

I second Ministry's suggestion and his comment. This isn't a normal game where you can just hit the undo button and everything is back to normal. I've seen places invest a lot of money and don't have the proper knownledge or team to backup that investment.
