I was watching CSPAN2 on Tuesday November 26th, 2002. They had a very informative show on titled "Modern History of Alcohol Impaired Driving in the United States". The symposium was given by James Fell, Director of The Pacific Institute for Research and Evaluation, Traffic Safety and Enforcement. www.pire.org
I have emailed them and asked for permission to post some of their findings here.
If you would like to look at the information yourself, they are at www.cspan2.org
One very interesting statement that Mr. Fell made was this, he stated that 20% of legal age adults consume 83% of all alcohol in the U.S.
