.Idea of Gold.

I have a goal to open a nightclub-bar.
The location is a gold mine (no nightclub-bars in whole city area with lots of people) , and there are spaces availiable.. I need information.. the following.

*Money.
*Size of building I would need.
*People I have to look for.

I am working on a business plan right now. I just need to know more of the necessary steps.. and How I would go about getting the $ as well. I have GREAT contacts.. that are have invested in a few projects out here, that are now gold mines, so I need to know how I could strike their interest well still holding control of the project over all.

Please Help a Good Young Person out :) I will not let any of you down.. And I am so glad that this forum exists.. Love the design and everything, and seems like a nice community maybe possibly incite me more!

Hey MR. DJ Sounds like you have some great excitement. I wont rain on that parade with negatives. You should focus on the first piece of the puzzle; funding. Without funding the idea goes nowhere. You ask how much money, but that is dependent on what you envision for your club. By deciding how big, what format and concept direction, design and so on you will be able to start figuring out the start up costs. You also have to account for licensing and insurance fees, signage, staffing, training, on and on. Once you think you have that number in mind add another years worth of operating costs (over capitalizing) to the loan. If you are able to secure funding, or perhaps you have the moeny to finance yourself, then you want to move forward with the rest of the project. This is truly a daunting task, but well worth it if you have the ambition and vision.
I just this year tried to move on from my consulting business and into buying a club but the financing just was not there. Make sure you address that first, as I spent 7 months now learning some very valuable, and expensive, lessons. I would be happy to help if have any more questions. Best of luck.
I would want to ask one more thing that surely someone will ask if I dont. Why is there not any existing clubs in this area already if it is so prime?
