Hey guys I just joined this forum but I've been reading for a while now!
I plan on opening up a nightclub 2years from now and I just started my adventures... I've done research on this forum and I just couldn't find what I’m looking for!

As of now I am in finance and I need to educate my self... I am looking for good suggestions on books to read.. I am looking for technical books, books on how to have a strong business plan, on entrepreneurship, and managing a nightclub!

Any suggestions would be great!!

go to the bar show in vegas in march (or any industry trade show). it will enlighten you. any book that you can read on beer,booze,inventory,design........ you get the picture, will help you. there used to be a store on the nightclub.com site ( have not looked in a while ) with a bunch of related books.

Hey Ajdin, keeping on eye on this forum will certainly keep you up to date. There's also no substitute for practical experience, so if you haven't managed clubs or bars before, I suggest you find a way to work with a current owner/manager somewhere for work experience. Its far easier and cheaper to gain experience on someone elses time!
