I finally decided that it's what i want to do. I have taken a VERY light semester this spring in order to focus on opening a nightclub in Greenville, NC... home to East Carolina University. I am young, and have absolutly no experience, but know this area very well. What I am looking for here is someone that can point me in the right direction, and preferably someone that would be willing to under take this project with me.

Anyone interested???

i can give more details upon request.

I have a client in that town...it's PACKED with clubs and bars around that college. I would get a job at the bottom and work your way up..that's the best way to learn...

Hello,

We are also looking for business partners/investors. RTP/Raleigh area is a great location. Duke, NC State, UNC are all within driving distance plus over 6 more well known universitites and colleges. There's potential in this area.

Contact me and see how we can combine ideas. And good luck to you.

Why are you interested in opening a club down there? Is it just because you think its cool?

Well biggest suggestion is start off working in a place first. Since you have no clue what your doing then I would recommend that! Why not try throughing some parties down there this way you start building a client base and then in a couple of years or next year you can commence opening your place. Then start bringing that client list to your own club!

Since your in school, do you even know how much your looking at to opening a club? Your looking at thousands upon thousands! 50K isn't going to get you far. Will probably be only enough for the rent for first month and last months.

Try doing some research before you go open to "making money(losing)" the forum has a lot of good information. Take the time to go through it

Good luck and if you need anything message.

You could attend Bar Trade Show in Las Vegas. The Hospitality Design show also in Las Vegas. Working in a bar gives you hands on experience which is good. You want to own the club not be the best employee.

Good Luck.
