Promotions & Advertising Budgets

First time poster here...hello all!!....we need a little help with our current situation...it is successful so far, however feel we are spending too much and not getting the return expected on our advertising dollars...right now we spend 27.5% for a return on our gross sales....anyone have any ideas or have a better % number to build on??..any help would be appreciated..>THANKSSS

I think you should look at your overall cost of the promotion…Cost of bar, food, labor, rent, ADVERTISING, etc. Then look at your return, anything over 40% in my opinion is good….
