yes...there was 1 at the AC show...It looked really cool. Im not a big poker fan so cant really comment on game besides it did look nice...If we had the room I would definitely put one in our place...You can prob call them up and find a local distributor or atleast a place that has 1 so you can mess with 1

Yes, it is a little annoying but there is one in use in Los Angeles, it was not cheap but you can play against the computer or a competitor. The one i tested was not a gambling machine so is perfectly legal under an "arcade" or similar license. (Unless you wager on points!!) - however there are some betting heads up machines also available but they do not allow for you to play against another person, only a computer in my understanding.

PokerTec i believe is the company whose machine i saw although a simple google showed a number of alternatives.

We have one - they are WPT Heads-UP machines. It is tournament-style/freeze-out poker. Averaged about $60/week.

Live poker has been much more profitable for us. You have 10 people, per table, playing poker - instead of only 2.

We got one in, I like it , the customers like it however the problem I see is the amount of money it takes in. There is not a time limit so you can play all day for a dollar. It would be better if you could play 3 or 4 people at a time instead of just two.

That is probably adjustable, I would talk to your vendor. The WPT machine raises the blinds very fast - so, the heads-up tournament does not last very long. We also charge $2, per person, per play.

thanks franchise, I will ask about that. I think it said blinds will be 200/400 for seven hands before it goes up to 300/600 for another seven hands. My vendor got this on loan and I am figuring we wont keep it only becaue it doesnt take in enough money to warrant paying 6500.00 for the machine.
