I am currently a sophomore in college majoring in psychology with a minor in business. I will be leaving for the army in a couple of weeks though to help cover the cost for college. After this 4 year endeavor, I plan on having saved at LEAST $30,000 not to mention the fact I can get a VA loan. I have been seriously entertaining the idea of opening a nightclub and was hoping I could get a couple of questions answered. I have already messed around with the idea and created a mini business plan minus the financial part. I was wondering how much some of you guys invested for start-up costs and your liquour license. Any help at all would be appreciated. My email address is billy_polk@hotmail.com.

Have you ever even worked in a Nightclub? Seriously, do you know what you're getting into. ......... my suggestion would be to try and sqeeze your way into a startup for a 5-10% share with that 30,000 and learn from someone who knows the business. You can basically forget about getting anything done for under 10 times that amount of money and you really need to be mentored by a pro prior to getting out on your own. Take your time and see if you're ready to make this kind of life choice prior to blowing your wad on nothing.
