Opening a club seems tedious to me, and even though a club is a tremendous amount of work- I still want it. Money is the kicker though, all the ideas in the world don't pay Martin to intstall lights or get me my Funktion speakers. The staff is make or break for the club over the years, I have young girls pleading for jobs cause they are hot, good employees who want to put up with this crap are few and far between. If I was rich would I even want to bother with the club? Would you? It sounds fun, but I'm here for the money.

I wouldn't recommend openning a club because it isn't all about the money even though it's the driving force behind the operating factors of an entertainment facility (OR ANY BUSINESS FOR THAT MATTER).

No offense, but people whom tend to think its all about the money, don't last long enough in this business the rellish the rewards of it. And in those terms, these owners tend to overlook the people that are making them the money in the first place...

Operating a club IS tedious with lots of long hours, hard work and dedication. And in order to make that money, you've got to be willing to sacrifice your personal time to make sure that all your bases are covered.

It sounds like you have some experience within the club industry from the way you described the sound/lights and have girls pleading for jobs, are you a manager or what do you do???

Lastly, being rich and staying rich are two totally different realities. Becoming rich usually involves many, many years of hard work and sacrifice in order to have the luxury of lounging about.

well, I am an assistant manager, I have been in the biz for five years. Granted, yes, it is not all about the money; the money does keep you there and I cannot be swayed on that. It's fun, there's no doubt, and if it was only about money I would work at an auto-plant with my dad.
