Has anyone used an automated myspace friend builder and if so which one is the best one out there?

i have...they are all pretty much the same

what you need to be careful of is the fact that myspace is sending them all cease and decist letters so your program may "stop working"

as well as the fact that myspace monitors the numbers of actions you take and can tell if its "humanly possible" or if your using a bot to spam the site

you could lose your site if y ou don't know what your doing, or they change up on you

best to create a myspace "street team"

I have, MySpace FriendBlasterPro is really good. but then again just like Teenclub said about the codes. You might be able to add 100 now but after only you can add like 10 if your lucky and then have the nag alert to enter the code.

I've used Friendadder.com.. They have a combo pack that also enables you to blast messages and comments as well.. Keep in mind.. Make sure your blasts are going out in 5 second increments or more and you dont exceed 200 in a 24 hour period. If you do this, you may get flagged for spam and/or have your profile deleted. And when I say 200 blasts, thats everything.. so 100 comments, 6o friend :"add" requests, and 50 messages could get you flagged (210 "actions"..

i strongly recommend against using them these days...whereas one year ago I was a big advocate

myspace is really cracking down...and just like on craigslist...there is automated as well as community spam checking

so lets say you send a friend request to someone you DONT know...and they deny it...you send it again...they have a button they can mark you as spam

it only takes a few (especially on a new account) before myspace deletes the profile.

Of course. Basically they don't like any automation because of all the ads you would be missing.

I use this program and works very well i only send out 50 a day as well but to be honest i dont see how its worked for me not the tool but myspace

it does not seem as big in the uk as it does in the usa, i have lots of people but i just dont like the way it works, facebook is the next thing in the uk but i have not looked into that and i dont thing i will just keep to out normal site and street team

I just start my software every day when checking my various email accounts , it gets up to around 60, then the "beep" that it has hit the captcha. I then put the code in and quit. Slow and steady works fine for me, but yes the old days were great.

shame hear numbers soon add up this way as well, i have even waited 2 hours after the first 50 and then it allows you to run it again but not sure if you would get flagged as spammer so i just stick to the 50, remember to use your friends get them to add a banner link to your profile

I agree with Teen...sure does sucky to not be able to add anymore like the old days anyway, but if you have an established list, I would be pretty scared to run the friend adders now that they are able to catch them easily...Too scared to lose my already known list!! If you ever find the good one = you know = the reeeeeeaaaalllly good one....lemme know!!!

I tried to download the "myspace friend added" that seandell sell but the link it sends me by email is broken. I tried to reply to the email and i got a sent failure notice. I checked out the site but i couldnt find any contact info what so ever. Does anyone know if this dude is still around i would lke to aquire some type of reliabel automated friend adder software.

use "feeder" accounts for the bots that send friends to "daughter" sites that tell the users to go to the real site.

simply create duplicate profiles with a number after the name of the club for the "feeder" sites. when they get shut down, you lose nothing.

Since my software no longer works or is supported by me, sorry no time... use MySpace FriendBlasterPro, simply use the demo and only spend 5 mins a day and add 50 per day.

I'm coming at this from a different point of view. I'm the president / creative director of a marketing and advertising agency that focuses on the nightlife industry and the automation tools basically killed our MySpace product line. But I'll try and respond from a non-biased point of view

My personal opinion is to not use these automation tools for many reasons. In fact, I would hesitate in advising to request friends in an unsolicited manner. Primarily, you're destroying viable marketing data and acquiring leads that may be worthless. Of the few clients that we still manage their MySpace for, we follow strict public relations etiquette. So yes, we do everything manually but we form relationships with their top friends and with those that write a message to them. We actually engage in back-and-forth conversation and at times talk about non-club related items (ie. how the local basketball team is going). In the customer's mind, this relationship and MySpace contact is much more meaningful than getting a random friend request from a club like how every else is doing.

Also the number of friends that comes in to the club's MySpace is a measure of how well the street team, website, and traditional marketing is doing in driving traffic to the online aspects of the club. Once you automate your MySpace, you lose a good part of this valuable data. Also with automated tools, you begin to add people who might not really be that interested in your club or might be a one-time visit. When it comes to estimating exposure and reach, I would feel much better using numbers from a MySpace profile with 800 qualified leads versus one with 8,000 randomly added leads.

This is just from my perspective Definitely some clubs will not agree, which in turn is why we've lost clients in our Social Marketing Management product line. But a few do agree. Bottom line, it's about developing qualified leads through meaningful relationships on these networks. Is it time consuming and somewhat a slower process? yes. But will you have a better social marketing campaign with a higher perceived value? yes
